Design Development

 

Our design details take their cues from the information we gathered at our initial meeting.  Cultured & cultivated, our 20+ years of design experience go to work for you, refining the best of form and function for your bespoke design.

 

Luxury is personal & we customize it for you, right down to your budget.  This is about you, your home & your family.  We meet with you in your home.  We learn about how you live, your personal style, we take in-depth notes on how you and your family live and want to live.

 

Our first meeting - Introduction

 

One of the main purposes of this first visit is to learn about your needs.  It is important for us to get a feel of your personality, your style, and your tastes for design and the way you and your family live.  It is equally important for you to learn who we are and to feel comfortable with us; hence all decision makers are required to be at meeting.

 

During this first meeting, we will discuss how your rooms are used, how the redesigned space incorporates the rest of your home, your budget, approval processes, schedules, and milestones you can expect during the process. Along with anything else we need to take into consideration, such as incorporating existing colors, furniture, and artwork.

 

If we both feel we are a good fit and want to move forward we will send you a written Letter of Agreement outlining the scope of work and our fee to design project to your specific needs and within your set budget.  

 

Our second meeting - Proposal of Design

 

 This is an exciting meeting in the design process!  Getting together at this time, we share our first designs with you.  Basic elevations, perspectives, and floor plans are presented, revealing your new space in a way that is easy to see and understand.

 

The final design may take several meetings to make sure you are happy with your custom design.  

 

Our goal is to give you the accurate information so that you can make an informed decision.

 

Preparation & Production

 

Once you approve your final plan, the preparation of your project begins for the remodel!  With great care the design and details for your custom cabinetry & new furnishings are worked out and ordered.  We work with the generations of artisans during their process of handcrafting your cabinetry. We are also ordering and shopping for all of the components that will be needed to install your project.

 

Installation

 

When everything is complete and passes our strict inspection, we schedule a convenient time for you to begin the transformation of your space. This is a fun step for you during the project stage watching as your custom design takes shape in your home!
